Circuits by US is actively seeking candidates for the following positions:

Electronics Soldering Technician

Location: Elgin, IL

Compensation: Market rate commensurate with experience

Purpose: Hand soldering of thru-hole and SMT electronic components.

Responsibilities:
  • Hand soldering of thru-hole and surface mount (SMT) electronic components.
  • Read Bill of Material's (BOM) & understand assembly drawings
  • Rework PCB and inspection.

Requirements:
  • 2 years of PCB Assembler and hand soldering experience
  • Ability to use various hand tools
  • Attention to detail and able to follow instructions well

SMT Machine Operator

Location: Elgin, IL

Compensation: Market rate commensurate with experience

Purpose: We are seeking a person who has full-line SMT line experience (solder paste screening- pick-n-place-programming-part loading-reflow-inspection) but are willing to train less-experienced candidates. The successful candidate will be high energy, enjoy having complete ownership of a manufacturing line.

Responsibilities:
  • Setup and operate solder paste screen printer, pick and place machines and reflow oven.
  • Follow manufacturing procedures and BOM specifications.
  • Identify and correct basic print and placement defects.
  • Identify and compare parts and load into proper feeders
  • Occasionally place parts by hand.
  • Perform simple preventative maintenance tasks and inform management of non-compliances.

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of SMT experience preferred
  • Understanding of the entire SMT assembly process.
  • Ability to read BOM’s, assembly drawings, etc. and offer suggestions for process improvements
  • Knowledge of electronic SMT components and package sizes.
  • Able to read and communicate in English.
  • Comfortable working with computers.
  • Passionate about quality.
